Morocco: India’s key to north Africa

In a lavish dinner hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Larbi Reffouh of the Kingdom of Morocco to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the strategic importance of the north African nation was once again highlighted. Morocco is the only nation among the countries swept by the Arab Spring wave to have emerged stronger than before. As Egypt struggles with civil turmoil – and uncertainties loom over the future of Tunisia, Libya and Yemen – Morocco is poised to carry forward the legacy of the Arab Spring.
